October 19-21 and October 26-28 at Calico Ghost Town! This is the only time of year when ghosts actually walk the streets of Calico! Calico Ghost Haunt 2007 offers fun for all ages with a wide range of haunted attractions and spooky activities, including: Maggie’s Haunted Mine, costume contests, blood panning for gold, pumpkin carving, tarot card readers, magic shows, trick-or-treating for the kids, gruesome gunslingers gunfight shows, AND a Halloween arcade!
After you have carved your pumpkin and filled your bag with candy, follow the ringing in your ears and visit Klaus VonSlammenhammer at The Blacksmith Shop, witness the “Dead Man Shooting” gunfight performed by Calico’s Old West gunslingers, or get the chills as you listen to ghost stories read in the graveyard. Also while in Calico, don’t forget to walk the streets and visit the local shops that have spooktacular decorations and amazing merchandise!
And don’t worry parents, we haven’t forgotten your little ghosts and goblins. There will be a special “kid-friendly” children’s haunted house complete with face painting and not-so-scary ghost stories. Calico continues it’s tradition of making Halloween a safe and fun event for the entire family!
