Calico Ghost Town's Heritage Festival 2007
Celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season by attending Calico Ghost Town's Heritage Festival, taking place Thanksgiving weekend, November 23rd, 24th, and 25th. Heritage Fest offers something for everyone including living history displays, dance performances, Western & Honky-tonk music, and much more! Plus, all of Calico's unique shops will be open for business and decorated for the fall season.
Continuous entertainment will be provided throughout Calico from 9:00 to 5:00 each day. Come listen to some good old-time Western music as Calico favorite Ernie Sites will entertain you with his cowboy songs and stories. Also filling your ears with the sounds of the West will be The Bayou Brothers and Henry Fencepost.
While taking a break from all of the exciting entertainment in Calico, stroll through the streets and experience a Native American Village, visit the town blacksmith, learn about blowing glass, watch a wool-spinning demonstration . . . all of this and much more will be yours to experience at Calico's Heritage Festival 2007!
Looking for a unique gift to give during the holiday season? Try the shops at Calico! Beginning November 23rd, for every $75.00 of merchandise purchased at any of Calico's specialty shops, you will receive one collectable Calico Christmas Bear (while supplies last).
If you aren't able to make it out to Calico for Heritage Fest, make sure to visit December 1st and 2nd or 8th and 9th as Santa will be visiting Calico every weekend before Christmas!
